Principal's Post

Welcome to the Jersey Community High School website. JCHS is an 8th - 12th grade facility of approximately 1050 students and 85 staff members. We are one of very few high schools across the country that have 8th grade students, although they do not take any courses with 9th - 12th grade students.

JCHS offers a wide variety of core English, math, social science, and science courses and students have the opportunity for dual credit in English and math through Lewis and Clark Community College. We are also very proud of our Vocational, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, and PE/Health/Driver Ed Departments and have a variety of dual credit opportunities in these areas as well.

JCHS believes open communication is very important. If you have questions or concerns, we encourage you to please contact your child's teacher. You can also contact me by calling the school at 618.498.5521 or emailing at
