2. College bound juniors  (classes of 2019) can experience campus life for FREE at Lindenwood University (Belleville, IL) Summer Overnight Visits. Dates are June 29-30 or July 20-21. Spend the night in a residence hall and receive information about admission and financial aid. Register at or call 618-239-6047

3.  A Message from the Guidance Office - If you have not turned-in your Early Bird and PE Waiver forms to your counselor yet, do so before the end of the school year or you will be in risk of not getting the classes that you want.

4. Want to be a nurse? Lewis & Clark Community College is hosting a Nursing Job Shadowing Course NURS 129  = 1.0 college credit for $143 June 11-14.

It is an overview of the field of nursing, job shadowing in the areas of ER, Surgery, Obstetrics and others. Call the enrollment center to register at 618-468-2222

5. $2500.00 Scholarship for any  College Bound or Trade School Bound JUNIOR.  Check out or see flyer in the main office.  Deadline is June 22, 2018.

6. Students scheduled to take behind the wheel driver ed with Mr. Brown this summer, please check your email and fill out the questionnaire that was sent to you.

7. PROM DVDS on sale for $12.00 in main office.  Graduation DVDS are $15.00

8.  REMINDER - All fees for Lanyards and Lunch MUST be paid before school is out!

9.  Juniors - If you are interested in taking a Lewis and Clark class this fall through our Early Start program, see Mrs. Ross for the program information.

10.  Summer School forms are now available in the office.  First come, first serve for the classes and times so register ASAP!

11. There is a handout in the office if you are interested in Cheerleading for the 2018-19 school year.

The following practice dates for any incoming freshman -11th grade students interested in Cheerleading for the 2018-19 school year:

12. Sophomores - We have a spot open for a sophomore who is interested in attending the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference this summer from June 7- June 10th. This is a fun and valuable experience for all of those who attend.  Please see Mrs. Ross as soon as possible if you are interested or would like more information.

13.  You can now add Ship to Home as an option for delivery when ordering a yearbook. If you’ve already ordered your yearbook and want to add to this, see Mrs Morgan C132.

Students who choose not to purchase the ship to home option will receive their yearbook on the first day of the 2018 school year- this includes graduating seniors. Those who choose the ship to home option with receive their yearbooks in late July. If you have already purchased your book you can add the ship to home option. Please see Mrs. Morgan if you have any questions.   Yearbooks are on sale for $80 until June 1- this is the last time to order your books! You can order a yearbook online through the JCHS website or place your order with Mrs. Morgan in RM C132. Do not leave checks in her mailbox.
